lol at everyone. looks good SG

good choice doing the FS torso.

I like how the torso's coming along, SC! As you yourself said, it looks as though you got the size and proportions just right. It should fit you just fine when finished, depending on how "buff" you get before DragonCon, lol.

And yes, I'll agree... there is nothing sexier than seeing a woman decked out in MJOLNIR armour. Well, at least for us kind of guys, anyway... heh heh :D

Wow hahah uber replies!

@ Ronin: hahahahah man speaking of heat... how hot is this stuff going to be at D-COn, the ATL has UGLY heat AND humidity... me thinks I should rethinks my Matte black armor color idea... though I wanna be a Stealth Spartan still....BAH! I'll make sure I got a camel back :D Thanks for the nice compliment Ronin :D

@ Zaso: Yeah there was not other choice for me, anything FS puts out I have to build it's always fun and it looks HOT when it's complete. Hahah, I play Vogue by Madonna and take some snaps :p

@Mancubus: hahahaha an HD model hahahah. Superficial trivia: I did some modeling in college, nothing huge, just small start up-line I was unhealthy thin back then XD.

@ Spartan: Yeah this actually seems like it'll fit like a glove! I may look into a pressure suit to bulk myself up, if I need it. I'm not looking to bulk up muscle wise ahah so don't worry. HAHHA yeah I just want to loose my mini-buddah belly and tone myself up because I've been eating HORRIBLY for the past few months. Haha well at least doods can appreciate women who work hard on their gear :D

@ Spartan 299: Hahaha poor Tex XD

@FS; Aw shanks Squirrly, it's the armor peps you make for us :D

THAT's what it is! I was thinking about the kind of suit Adam and others have used to do the same, but for the life of me couldn't remember what they were called. I'm thinking I may go that route myself, too. Depends on how expensive they are, though.

And, of course us guys here appreciate the work you and the other few female SPARTANs' do on your armour. Why wouldn't we? I mean, don't forget where we are... ;) lol

Yeah look for the pressure suits on pricegrabber.com I think they run about $89.99. Nightmare Armor has an official thread somewhere about what they use to make the best of their armor , that's where I got some useful tips :D And yes, we female Spartans are few, but proud to be!

Yea, why do you think the paparazzi use the brightest flash they can find for red carpet photos? lol

Nice so called "jammies" :p what do they say?

and as for the armor, did i hear you say that these things have fiberglass and A.R.? if so, they will be verry strong. I dont know how brittle A.R. is though, might have to watch out for that.

Well a quick photography lesson, Flash's are like a portable photo studio, they give an even wash of light to the subject, and they also can wash out imperfections.

You can't sell flat photos to tabloids. My jammie say "Rock, Roll & Pink" . It's the Pink line from Victoria's Secret :p

Anywho, back on subject, my torso armor is about 60%, now comes the fun of cutting and folding the tiny things on the back section...haha I saved those for last XD Then some hot glue to the trouble spots, struts and then Viola :D

Awesome! So, we can expect to see the torso fully assembled very soon, then. I can imagine it'll be a little bit more difficult coating that thing in Aqua Resin as opposed to the helmet...

Well maybe in about 2 weeks in a minimum, depending on my free time. And yeah... I've been wondering about the A.R. of this. I have to reinforce it with hot glue for sure... though as long as it doesn't do anything too funky along the lines of warping it should be ok. This only drawback is te gritty finish of A.R. but some higher grit sand paper my eliminate that.

That would probably be the best way to go about it once you're at the point of finishing it, imho.
