Haha well this isn't my first real build. But a while back when I joined, I did have a full suit but only pep. I rushed it before Halloween and it turned out like crap

At least I have enough time to finish anyways

But thanks for the comments its helping me to encourage myself to make art :')

Here's what I mean, This is my first helm and that is my second. You can see the difference in detail and such.

Wow that is a big difference between your first and second helmet. what did you do so differently between the two? I need to get pictures up of my build so I can get some pointers.

Lol that's the difference of actual bondo and rondo. Personally I think that bondo is somewhat hard to work with if you over apply it to anything. Like the mark vi helmet. When I was working on my first helmet, bondo had built up on the detailed areas. I should of been careful but oh well. I learned my lesson the first time and now with my second helmet done, I used the magic of rondo and it helped. And let's see those pics

Ah good tip. When i started the bondo phase i was putting it on sanding it and could never get result that i was completely happy with but then i got the mouse sander and that fixed it all up for me. What it took hours with hand sanding i got the same result with the mouse in minutes. Working on the pics.

That is Great! Everyone at work is looking at me because I'm laughing to much... that seal made my day.



Everything is looking great! And you made a second helmet as well... looks a LOT better. Soulless you got mad skills bud! I'm about to upload new pics of my torso as well. I'll let you know.

I guess it's their opinion, but that second helmet destroys the first one in my opinion. It's so much smoother and the details show more.



As for the costume contest, no doubt in my mind that you're going to win! I've won one last year, and I'm going to compete in another on Sept. 25th (Games Live Orchestra is coming to my town and will hold a video game costume contest).



Love to see the whole suit for the contest soulless!

I rushed it and I did not know what the hell I was doing. Basically a test helm until I get better and better with each piece. Plus my time is being eatin up by that Mannequin Pep.

Tell me about it, lol. But, I'm willing to take however much time it takes (be it a year, two... or more, lol) in order to get it the very best it can be. I admit I'd like for it to be coming together quicker than it has, but not at the risk of sacrificing accuracy or quality. Thanks.

Quickly off-topic, that's one helluva awesome Autobot logo you're putting together, buddy. It looks [i]huge[/i], lol. That would look great up on your wall.

Lol I plan on doing so. I wouldn't know how to tackle on resining and glassing it and bondoing it. Though I know it doesn't need fiberglass to hang on a wall.

I don't think you'd really need to do all that for something like this. Maybe just resin it, harden it up a bit. Since you'll be hanging it on your wall, it's not like you'll be throwing it around the room or sitting on it (at least, I'd hope not, lol), so it wouldn't need too much reinforcement, just a bit.



Armour's looking real good, btw. Like I said before: super smexy, buddy

Well I did get around to painting my chest

Though I can't finish my forearms since my sister stole my glue gun. But I'll get it up tomorrow when I glue on the floating details.

I used a different gray from what I used on my helmet. Though there isn't much a of difference except up close and the glossy effect of my helmet.

NOW, I need some of your guy's input on to how to put on this chest. I don't know if I wanna use straps and cut in clean in half like Poopers. So give me any ideas you guys got

I glassed the boots part and I'll start bondoing em tonight.

EDIT: Forgot to add this in but this was my first chest from last year. BIG DIFFERENCE

It was small anyways and now it's just a failed project. I may have to include pics from the inside since it may be hard to see. I rushed it and the fiberglass is just all over the place.
