Starting halo reach military police helm, need help

Hey 405th community I'm starting a helmet from scratch out of cardboard foam core and hot glue, I have a model of the helm but don't know how I should messure my head for the helm.

ok so messure from your chin to the top of your head add a couple of inches for the foam on the inside of the helmet remember messurments are in mm there are 25.4 mm in a inch and 304.8 mm in a foot if you have anymore ? hit me back good luck and i would like to see pics of how it turns out

yeah but make sure you put a bunch of padding in it otherwise it will hurt like heck when you put it on. my buddy played the whole foot ball season without any pads he could have gotten a concusion! but anyway good luck on the helmet sounds really cool!
