Starting my first project: SPI Armor

Hello 405th, I've read some of the tutorials to armor building and what not. My problem is that I can't find where to make molds from, or materials etc. I have alot of time on my hands, so I thought this would be a good idea to start with. Here are the pics im using for references.

Any suggestions on where to get started in this process?

on the halo costuming wiki there is a pep file for an spi helmet. Would be a good start.

I love the SPI armor, I havent seen any completed costumes. Would love to see this done.

Alright I got the pep file that I need. Now I need ideas on how to make this thing, seeing as I haven't done this before. What would be the first step and materials needed?
