The helmet belongs to dungbeetle. He is on the forums here on the 405th. I think he still sells his files for five bucks. I will eventually release the files. I just want to finish my suit first.

I figured they might be a little late. Thats okay. I have a backup plan for the halloween costume just in case. Ill post pictures of it tomorrow.

Update - Soo hows the 405th been without me for a while? anyone miss me? i finally have more time on my hands to pick back up on this project, and after a TON of rescaling hit and misses i finally have something that works for me. The Cod piece is done, the stomach shouldnt take too long. Good to be back everyone. I also have the pneumatics for the rear of the flaps worked out (pretty much) thanks to a very good friend of mine. Also, a new addition to the costume is a purge kit of sorts that i'll be installing for the feet to shoot out "smoke". But well cross that bridge when we get to it. Enjoy the pic, therell be more to come. Good to be back.

Considering i taped you up for that statue, I think the "undies" look a little bit too big, i dont know it may just be me id probably need to see it in RL to actually say something

I wondered if you were pep'ed out. I know I was. Looks really good and the scale is right on. It is good to see it all on your dummy so then you will know exactly how it will fit on your body. I'll keep my eye on your progress.

Update - Thank goodness the stomach plating, spine and cod piece are FIALLY pepped!! SO FREAKING GLAD!! Ive also set a end date for the pepping process (this cant go on forever) so i plan on finishing the entire suits pep stage at least by christmas. Im working hard at getting it together, and i know it will come together. Just need to get it done. I have a lot of things to do before halloween next year for this costume:

Electronics

Mounting

Flexibility parts

photoshoot

help with my brothers costume

pneumatics

special effects

TONS of work. But ill get there. All honesty, at this point im not completely sure ill have it 100% finished by the release of iron man 2. I MAY (and thats a stretch) have it 70% by then. IF all goes well. Well thats it for tonights little picture update. On to the arms!
