Starx - Mark 3 Build

The helmet looks the same from that picture, but the rest looks different.

I think if you wanted to make a MK4 chest then you could simply make an addon to sit on top of the MK3 chest.

The arms and gauntlets just look too different.

I second the use of the dungbeetle helmet. Its only complicated due to the number of pieces, but in correspondence, the pieces link up just like any other pep file. It will just take you more time. As far as the faceplate, we have our own method sepparate from masterle.

Starx and Superman, you guys are doing great work. I've finished my helmet and I have some ideas for the motorized face plate as well, I can't wait to see what you guys come up with.

As for master le.... I started my interest in armor building a little more than a year ago after seeing his first iron man costume. I was praising him for his work until recently. I don't mean to rant/vent but he has been trying to take credit for Dungbeetle's helmet pep (calling his helmet a free hand sculpt) and just seems to be overwhelmingly full of himself lately.

I just wanted to put it out there that the work you and superman are doing is much more respectable and I applaud your progress as well as your eagerness to give credit to the talented people who have helped you along the way.

this is realy the most acurate iron man build i wil ever see. Maybe in a month or so JUICE wil give you guys some gear to fly with. like dutch people would say: You guys are as crazy as a door.

Really great work. Now going back to my previous post, I realized I didn't mention something. I'm on a Mac... So if it isn't too much trouble, I would really appreciate the Dungbeetle helmet in a pdf. file. I think it would be beneficial to all the other teenagers out there who want to get into armor making but have a Mac. But if it's too much work I totally understand. Thanks and keep the pics coming!

I don't know how to change it into a pdf but I was able to turn it into a series of bmp files. Hope that works :)

Hey I was wondering what kind of paint you guys were going to be using for this. I was looking around for a metallic paint but I can't seem to find anything that matches the iron man colors. I noticed that the gold/yellow has a brushed aluminum look to it and the red is more of a metallic burgundy red. Any suggestions please?
