Are you sure? When you look up camel spider on google, that pic is the second one on the page. And then the file if you right click and save it, it says "camel spider bite 4". SO? Are you sure...either way. It's still nasty!

Thank God there mate, I was worried for your friend. I'll pray for him if you want me to. Where does your friend live btw? I just want to get an idea of where these recluse things are..locationwise.

They live all around the USA. I'm in IL but I've googled reports for nearly every state.

Also

(Incredibly graphic recluse spider bites if untreated. CAN CAUSE DEATH)

Totally. But if your stuck. How the f   k do we kill one of these things effectively? Other than squashing it if we don't want to get near it?

You're pretty much going to have to get near it to kill it effectively unless you have bugspray or an airsoft gun.

I'd break out my airsoft shotgun if I see one again. It's like playing The Library from Halo 1 In real Life! <3

Lets start posting ideas for killing these alien things lol!

So far we have:
Tag and a lighter : Flame to death.
Bugspray.
Squish em.
Hit it with a hammer!
Weedwhacker
M80
Cherry bomb
Paintball gun
Run over it with an rc car
Dagger tied to a stick
Electric shock
Drown it
A weird one - Throw pastries (donuts, cakes, brownies) at it, like a custard donut.
Throw glass bottles
Cover it in plaster
Smash it with an old guitar that you were gonna get rid of
Pour syrup on it or bbq sauce (it cant move and possibly die in it)
Carry a shuriken?
Pour hydrocloric acid on it.
Get a mouthfull of kerosine oil and a zippo or lighter and blow the son of a b*^ch to h*ll lol
Super glue works as well. It gets stuck and then it hardens
Stick it in a microwave (watch it explode)

(Lets keep going. Think of creative ways to kill these things)

They are huge dude, check this out : http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y226/Pebb...SpiderBite4.jpg

DO NOT VIEW IF YOU GET SICK AT BLOOD/WIERD STUFF!
That..is the wierdest freaking bite I've ever seen, but guess what. It's the bite from a camel spider.

Keep em away from me! :eek

That would be a brown recluse bite, the brown recluse's poison literally eats through skin. There's quite a few of the buggers around here, but if your careful they are generally not too dangerous. One of the cooks at the restaurant I work at got bit by one last christmas, didn't do much damage though because he had been bit before and had a mild immunity to the toxins.
