For my SPARTAN-IV, which has a Warrior helmet design that will look like this,

I plan on making the helmet in two pieces, gluing cardboard and foam over the pepakura model, which will be split into a front part and a back part. Once both pieces' exteriors are plastidipped or whatever else I need, I'll glue those two pieces together last after adding foam padding on the inside.
Thoughts? Should I try a different approach for foam/cardboard and craft glue?
