Nice work so far Tiger. Keep it up man. The Pep's are looking great. By the way, you been deployed yet? I only ask cause I can't help but notice the hat in the background and the camo pattern it has :) lol

Yeah i went to OIF 08-11 and was about to go on OEF 12-13 but ended up getting held back to have open-heart surgery. And now my deployment days are over. :(

Non Pic update(pics to follow)

I am wrapping p the final bit of my upper body portion of the MKV, just have to finish peping the ab plate and then i will start from the cod dwn. I have also just found my black "ninja" suit and will have pics of the upper body as soon as the pep is done on the abs.

Again, thanks for looking in

So i have made my 4th sizing mistake (3 on the helm) this time with the abs! The ab piece is just as big as the chest

well you weren't kidding when you said it was oversized in the message! It happens though to all of us. your pepping is still looking clean, big plus... a clean pep= an easier sanding job. i made rundowns MK V and that thing was way oversized! now it sits in my workshop as a reminder. i got all the way through the bondo stage lol not thinking of it.

Thats the good thing about being temporarily broke, i dont havetthe option to go that far right now...:) i just wish i hadnt wasted that much paper, or that i had found the measuring tool on Pep designer. oh well you win some and you lose some.

And now to carry on with the build!!!

carry on my friend, i must go to sleep for work in a few hours. i will check progress from my phone at work tomorrow lol. yes my job is so repetitive i can look at my phone screen all day cruising the 405th and still get everything done. hope the new ab plate works out well for you the second go around.

Thanks Sonny, and dont feel bad i do the same thing with my phone at work as well. :)

Awesome job so far! Btw here is a tread filled with different Mark V files. I see that you are using Moz's two part chest piece. All of Moz's files are unfolds of the Halo 1 model. I tried to build it myself once and found out that it was missing a lot of the parts from the original model and therefore could't hold it's shape. I extracted the model myself and sepperated the chest piece were I left most of the parts on. Here is my result:

The download link is currently down. I will reupload it myself later today and then post it here. Hope this helps;)

Thanks for the heads up, i havent ran into any problems as far as the parts missing, just some obvious sizing issues. when you get your link back up i will take a look at your Unfold though.

Lol I'm having sizing issues with the pieces being too small and I'm starting on my 3rd helmet oh well at least pepping is all I can do at the moment

An update tribute to my sizing FAILS

The first Ab plate was waaaayyy too big and now i have switched models and made this one just a tad too small

D'oh! Ah the joys of scaling trial and errors. :p We all have them though. I know I have.

Don't get discouraged though. Pep looks really clean despite the scaling. Keep up the good work.

The best part of pieces being too small for me is that they will fit my wife or, in the case of my first helm, daughter. Thanks for the compliment. i find that if you just take your time and care about what you're doing then you really only have to do it once. Unless you mis-scale and then you can do it well 3 or even 4 times. :)

Indeed it does. I just got my Heat box built this morning so i should be able to get some resining done tonight. I havent seen any updates on your build lately. Are you just doing the pep for now and waiting for warmer weather?
