Vshore!! Hey buddy, how the heck ya been? Man your armor is looking top notch my friend. I am loving what you have done. Sorry i have missed so much progress. Its all comming together really nicely Keep it up!
Great work on the shoulders. I'm becoming a fan of the dry brushed silver. I think I may use a combination of it and the vasaline technique on any new projects. Vasaline works well for dents and dings but the dry brush looks great for scuffs and scrapes. Can't wait to see it all come together.

No way man, i missed everyone to much and i have to stop slacking. I might be using what you did with your knife on my suit when i get around to that by the way

Here is how it's mounted. Four screws hold it on for easy removal.
Here is a quick shot of it suited up. Before anyone says the shoulder is too low, it's supposed to be that way. The undersuit will fill that area in to complete the look. I still need to mount the strapping to hold it up all the way and keep it from swinging around.
As always, thanks so much for viewing and please comment and give helpful advice if you have it. I appreciate it.
Looks great man. The proportions are right on. Out of curiosity, where is the workshop your standing in? Some of the things lying around there look familiar from the days I worked in a steel shelving plant.

I have been working on an ab plate for the build. I started with making templates like on the shoulders, transferred them to foam, cut them out glued, etc. and here are the results thus far...
You can see here that I need to invest in a can of PlastiDip, the sealer I'm using doesn't like to flex, so the paint cracks, but that's easy enough to remedy.
I attached elastic to the back so it will allow me to bend forward more. Does it look too big to you guys? Also, I need to adjust it, it's a little crooked in the pic.
I had the same sealant cracking problem with my inner thigh pieces. I sprayed them when they were flat, and then when I curled them they cracked. I'm actually hoping to pick up some (paint-on) plastidip tonight to do my gun.
Suits sometimes look very empty without an ab piece. This one looks good, and not restricting of movement.

Well besides crooked i think the ab plate looks great. I think you did well with the sizing for sure. I have that same xacto cutting pad by the way lol. It works great!
Keep up the great work V, im lovin it.
Thanks my man! I enjoy doing scratch builds. I'm gonna have to do more of it in the future. I'm glad I can be an inspiration to some one as skilled as you Tony. You keep building too!
