Looks great and at least you didn't burn your armor........joking. Please be careful. There is one thing to go all out for your build.....and another to get hurt by it.

You could also try some thin wool gloves......you may not have the grip but it does insulate from heat for a bit. Direct heat will go through and yes burn....but if you can avoid that, it helps.

You could also paint your hands black, and contact cement the pieces to your hands, hit it with the heat GUN on high, mask off, and spartain! Come on guys, what are you doing?! your methods are so silly!

Well as long as that "had" is spraypainted and looks like the wardens hand, i think you responded quite well

Well I've done the thighs, one lower leg and half the other lower leg, should finish it tonight and be moving on to the feet. No pics yet tho cos Im on pc and pics are on phone. Im also in the process of trying to figure out how they are going to be fixed to the stilts. The stilts are aluminium so not magnets but I'm looking at strapping and cable ties maybe. I've still gotta practise walking in the damn things

Ok pics. The lower leg I’ve done is still in 4 separate sections in pic, it’s now front and sides together and back piece will buckle to the rest by someone (helper I hope lol) once I’m on stilts. Will be test fitting and walking later this week hopefully, and hopefully won’t break any bones (or armour lol)

Feet were a pain to do, but now done and one is strapped to stilt. Hoping to get all straps on legs/feet finished tomorrow and then I can try a walk around in the leg armour. I can walk in stilts without it but armour is bulky so might have to completely change the way I walk in them lol
