Warhammer 40k Imperial Guard lasrifle

My friend is making a imperial guard suit, either a kasrkin or some sort of sniper, and Ive decided to help him out a bit. I decided to make the gun for him because its fairly simple and shouldnt take long to complete. Heres an image I will be using as a reference.

And heres what Ive done so far. I am hoping to get much further before I go to bed.

Im using all foam and some pvc pipes for the barrel and the rod on the top

Styrofoam. The stuff they use for insulation

Heres a pic of it now, its almost finished. All I need to do is make the eagle symbol then seal it then paint it.

I finally finished it the whole body looks good but the barrel looks kinda bad but you can only tell from up close
