This has probably been done before but one of my many electronic projects has been creating a working ammo counter for the assult rifle and im happy to say that i have had it implemented into my mates MA5C assult rifle all that has to be done now is work out the actual rate of fire in game so if anyone can find out the amount of bullets per second that are fired i would appreciate it alot

advent - you don't have to start a new topic for each idea. Put them all together in one thread. You can edit the title and first post. Cuts down clutter that way. Will help you here later as well.

Look on the Halo wiki. That info is possibly listed there.

i believe the rate of fire is 60-90rds/min. I know my XM8 (not Halo) spits out a 45rd clip in just under 30 sec. If you stick to this figure you oughta be really close. Or you could get out a stopwatch and time how long it takes you to empty the clip in the game. I know for a fact that the MAC5 clip in the game is 60rds.

o_O you have an XM8?

As for the rate of fire, halo wiki or, ironically, the manual from the game are your best bets, so... RTFM :p
