Re: Wort! Blarg! Honk! 3D printing a Covi Elite.

Looking good!! I know it would be a heck of trip for you but you should try and come up to the salt lake city con in September. How cool would it be to have an elite and a hunter in the same place?!:thumbsup

Nice. Did you ever get the teeth figured out for the mandibles? I've had a couple ideas floating around in my head but I didn't want to butt in.

Re: Wort! Blarg! Honk! 3D printing a Covi Elite.

The armor is looking great, like all your stuff does. All the black undersuit areas look weird though - you're going to fill those areas in with something, right?

Re: Wort! Blarg! Honk! 3D printing a Covi Elite.

There is a Hex pattern on it . The pics dont show it well .lossy JPEG compression for the win :( .

I have sholder covers to mount and I may craft up some EVA arm bands just casue it fills in the arms.

I am kinda wondering what else I can do to Pimp the cosplay.
If only had time to Really tweak my voice .. its hard to get that deep elite voice.
Perhaps a waist band like in H2?
The file I used IS from the archive for H4 Here on the forum and they dont have waist band armor.

Inspired By the H5 SoS Elites on the map alliance for there body model

with a Lid based on Rtas from H2A

Colors of Rtas vadum . Might become a SoS later on as
One problem is how hard it is to weather silver ish armor.

I used the same paint Ive been spraying for Rtas also on my MC so I can add wear and tear.
It works well for this but Ive yet to find a good way to weather silver.
Ive looked in to inda ink and the like . . It might be a tad too heavy to try..
