Xbox 360 Internet Probs

Can some one help me please.


Here the prob I had my xbox 360 hooked up to the internet though my computer But the internet on the 360 was really slow So them i went to best buy and bought a 50 ft Ethernet cable to reach my modem but it is still slow dose any one know what would cause this and how would i go about fixing it.

Well I would suggest not connecting the 360 to the internet through the PC! You can connect the 360 to the modem directly 'cause there's an ethernet port round the back, I would think that it's the PC that's making it slow. I'm no tech expert though, so I'm not absolutely sure.

You had nothing else connected to the modem besides the 360 and it was still slow? Sounds like a problem with your ISP. Give em a call, I'm sure their tech support has gotten questions like this before.

If your pc was also connected still, I would suspect something was running that was using all the bandwidth.
