XBox live update

the weirdest thing just happened. i put in halo 2 into my 360 signed onto to xbox live.
it said i needed an updat and i clicked ok.
instead of half the screen opening up into a message thing it went to the old xbox loading screen. the green one.
last time i updated halo 2 it stayed in the 360 dash.

thought this was interesting.

Halo 2 still runs on the original X Box system software. It''s just re-processed with an emulator in the 360. So, yeah it will do that...

Just like you can't use the 360 features or messaging system when you're online playing Halo2...

well you an play music as long as its started before the game....just cant change the song or stop it until your back on the dashboard or ina 360 game
