Dude, that looks outstanding! You did an amazing job for not using a file, props to you.
I am curious though - how did you add the detail to your armor to make it look a little scratched up?
1. Take a can of spray paint and an old brush.
2. Spray silver directly on the brush (not too much)
3. Lightly brush it on the areas you'd like damage.

dude that suit is freaking amazing! I'm mean wow just wow its awesome! the level of detail is beyond anything ive made lol

Couple shots from FanExpo Canada this Saturday.

Wow. Just saw your stuff retweeted from the 405th. Great stuff man. A couple questions for you, if you don't mind me asking: What do you use to attach your gun? Magnets? (if so, what strength?)

Is this your first time working with foam? Got any tips and tricks other than keep a sharp knife? hehe. I have so many questions, but I don't want to bore you! This is a great build, thanks for sharing with us :)

Thank you. Feel free to ask any questions. I've experimented with a bunch of stuff so maybe I can help.

-- Yes this is my first time with foam
-- The guns are attached using what looks like large twist ties. They sell them at home depot. I twisted them around the gun. I'll snap pictures when I get home.

I also have magnets (level 10).

Foam tips: plastidip is your friend for sealing the foam.
Don't use a red marker to draw your lines. It'll show up later.

Sweet costume! I remember running into you at Fan Expo at the Xbox One booth! Here's a few photos I found!

This looks awesome! You got an insane level of detail, especially for this being a scratch build.
I'm impressed.

That is very cool. I am working on my first build. Not going to be scratch built though.I like my pep files. lol. I love the blue lights. I need to look at adding them in mine as I am building.

I used everything from craft foam, moldable plastic, balsa wood and whatever I could use.
