  • hey, I have a question about scaling. I really don't have a precise method down, but what I'm doing is taking my height in inches, dividing that by 86, and multiplying the result by the current scale. it worked well with the codpiece but I'm not sure if it will always work. does it? and what's your scaling method? thanks for all your advice, it's been really helpful!
Hey man, I was just looking at your progress with the noble 6 helmet and I just wanted to know where you picked up the visor. Also, is it a motorcycle visor and did you have to cut it to make it fit? Thanks :3
Ill just ask for the retail price here, it's about $1.50 each. Shipping would just be whatever the actual price to ship them to you. I'm not in it for them money, I'm just a halo fan like everyone else on the 405th. I'll keep you posted as/if I come across the rest of noble team.
Hey, what I did is I used the large strap thats part of the leg piece to hold it against my leg, I re-enforced it a lot with fiberglass so it wouldn't tear as I walked. to hold it up long my leg I used parachute clips. You can find these at any arts/crafts store, you can also search for those here to see the different ways people set theirs up. I just glued an elastic strap to the inside of the thigh, the other end to a clip, then I wore a large web belt (stuff military uses) and attached the other clip to that. so i could quickly snap it on/off. a lot of people here used that route, you'll find more info on it. good luck.
hey man, if you could do you think you could walk me through the whole bondo process? and on pretty much the same matter, to make the rondo mix can i use entirely different brands of body filler and resin?
Haha no problem dude, you got any more questions just ask. I'll be starting Jorge and Jun's helmet soon, maybe some mods to my costume down the road.
    Looool
Then I don't think you'd have to. If you can you should :p but other than the suuuupa long single day pass line I'm pretty sure they'll have enough tickets. Guess it depends when you'll be getting there

Yeee might get another deluxe pass like last year. It's a pretty fair subway ride for me so it's worth going the 3 days :p
Saame I only have my helmet glassed :/ if it's all I get done I'm only bringing it. Hopefully I get some money to buy visors off SeanBradley.
If Spray's parts fit we might mold em just to get my suit done :p

Helm was pretty easy. Spray got the bottom built up to the top of the vents and then he realized it was too small so he handed it off to me to finish up.
This one might be 30cm? Sorta snug on me. Default might be good. LOL
    LOL awesome
Me and Spray are planning to go as a pair of ODSTs
and sure, lemme just find it on my files :P

EDIT: Forst Con?! Aha this'll be our second time going and second con ever.
We saw Moz last year with his all-metal Mark V (Halo CE) Pretty beast
