edit- except one, anyone know if anyone has modeled and unfolded the waist plates? they go on both sides around the belt.

Yeah, I was just thinking about those. I haven'y seen enough ref pics to have a good idea of what they looked like, but I too realized that those have yet to be modeled. (I'd start now, but I can't do any modeling/pepping this week until my summer reading is done (I switched classes about two weeks ago, so I'm still getting through the 800+ pages of Anna Karenina ...)

Have you seen the picture of Romeo? the wallpaper one? i presume that it is symmetrical and that pic covers at least half of it. and we could probably dig and find some side shots that show off the plate pretty well.

Couldn't you just use the hip plates from the weta ODST??

yep! thats the one! and i made a wallpaper of romeo, mickey, and dare last night and you can see the hip plate in all of them. it shouldnt be hard to model
