Strapping and padding mostly complete, need to fine tune the biceps and shins, any tips for those?
I plan on connecting the shins to the thighs to keep them from falling down, they are padded a little in the front.
The biceps are currently connected to eachother with nylon straps and parachute buckles, but I may end up sewing a harness together to attach them and the leg armor to (instead of the belt that is currently holding them up)
Ordered a larger diameter shock cover for my boot covers, the 3” didn’t work out the best, should be here Friday.

You'll need to pad the inside of your triceps to position the biceps centered on your actual biceps so they dont want to rotate on you like in the pics. The upper arm pieces look a little loose but nothing a little proper padding cant fix. The elastic strap joining them together across you back works great but that strap sometimes will want to slide down your back causing it to lose tension. To prevent this I sew little loops on my collar bone shoulder parts of the undersuit and loop the elastic shoulder strap through those loops. You still will have plenty of motion but it will keep that strap from sliding down your back. As for the shins, I dont connect mine to my thighs with straps because the padding in my shins and top of the calve hold them up perfectly because to tension point is above the ball of of the calve muscle and it helps hold it up. I also have ankle padding now that give my ankle the thick under suit look but also helps let the shin piece ride on that as well to keep from sliding down. Hope that helps.

First suitup! Have a couple tweaks left but it’s mostly done. Having some trouble with the led circuit for my helmet, they keep burning out even tho I’m using the resistors that the LED calculator suggested I use ‍♂
Midsection wrap is almost done, latex attaching the zipper is almost dry.
Now to finish the soldering on my energy sword!

LOOK AT THAT GLORIOUS BEARD! And that neck seal is awesome! Also, I like the Captain America shield on your wall.

The toes on your boots look like their poking up at an odd angle, though. Youin may need to glue them down or something.

Thanks! Yeah the boots will need to be reworked, I am using some old work boots currently, but I may replace the shoe the armor is mounted to, to get a better overall shape.
There’s more nerd stuff all over the basement not in the pic ;-)

I've had great results using the Tred Safe shoes from walmart. I usually get the one of their sporty looking versions that have an entirely flat botton tread sole. This makes for a really good looking boot. The rubber on these are really soft, so shoe goo bonds really well and the honey comb tread pattern also helps with glue adhesion.

Redoing my boots, they were definitely the part of the costume I wanted to fix the most, thanks for the shoe tip ;-)

A few shots from yesterday. Had a few snafus, boot was rubbing on the back of my ankle, and shin started to move around, need to add a little more padding.
also snagged the tip of the sword on someone and snapped off the tip, glued it back on, that’s why there is blue tapein a couple pics, was holding it on while the glue cured.
