Good afternoon everybody. I made this helmet because I wanted a 3D headset off of one of the coolest helmets in the franchise in my opinion, the gugnir. It was made off of a base model on thingiverse and was a PAIN to make. 1.5 years, 3 attempts of trying to scale, shell, and cram a vr system in there. I am still unsatisfied with it and will make a future version that is slimmer, more ergonomic, and more adjustable.
The method that worked best for my broke self in scaling my head was covering my whole head in aluminum foil, then taking in off and measuring it to see how big my head was. I would surface off of a 3D head bust in the future.

Printed on an ANET A2 with PLA and 20 parts I think, took a week.
First work for a while at Halo Outpost Discovery at Chicago on Saturday/Sunday.
