New poster here, I got a Creality CR10 Smart Pro for Christmas, been printing plant stuff for the missus and some oversized floating Benchys for the kids, finally time to print something for me

Decided to buy the M6C Socom files from Galactic Armory and give it a go, here’s the work in progress up until now, still got to sand and finish printing the laser module. Tried to glue magnets into the magazine so it remained removable but held in place, accidentally put it in too early even though the glue felt dry and now it’s stuck, but such is learning.

Also had to pause the print remotely and fix a broken support, but impressed it still turned out salvageable, but I refused to waste 17/22 hours of printing.

Now that is quite the solution for failed supports! I love it! The magnum looks awesome man, keep it up and welcome to the community!

Thanks man! I’m keen to sand and paint once the laser is finished, hopefully it’ll turn out well then too, never been much of a painter haha.

Yeah I was deadset determined, been having issues with my filament absorbing moisture but I now have a dryer, I see more, improved magnums on the horizon, among other things

That’s actually crazy that that worked XD

I would have just given in and restarted

Welcome to the community btw!

That's a great first prop! Like you said, little sanding and paint and it's going to look really great. And dialing that in on smaller pieces can propel you to success in larger ones. Looking forward to seeing the progress!
