how I normally do it is (and it worked fine for my one too) I do three to four separate big sections, let one set while I work on another. then I attach them together. i.e. for my one i did the top, the back and the jaw separate, then joined the top and back and lastly the jaw. it works for me cuz there’s less chance of the paper bending under its own weight but the best method is always the one your most comfortable with.
 
thanks for the advice by any chance is there any way i can colour coordinate the back jaw and top with different colour card so that i know what goes where or do i have to do it manually?

no other way then coloured cardstock =P
atleast i think so..
