I started playing DnD with some coworkers. I have never played before and was too busy to think of a new character and background, so I adapted Mihini, my Bionicle MOC, into a DnD character. I recreated Mihini in Stud.io then exported the model as a STL file to resin print and paint a mini.
Recently, our DM has wanted us to dress as our characters and we've talked about our party going to the ren faire in October as our DnD characters. I was told I don't need to go over the top, but I'm going to anyway.
I modeled the end of Mihini's fire halberd in Solidworks. The base can attach to a 1in PVC pipe and there is room for electronics.
Viprewolf modified Mhini's modified kanohi matatu (mask of telekinesis) for me so that the walls were thinner and the mouth axle was removed. Then I scaled it up to fit my head and printed it out of PETG.
