So I tried getting a hold of Grumbo about this and was unable to. Many apologies about not posting this in the classified section of the forum, but I cant go there yet, not vetted. Hopefully I wont get in too much trouble.

I have currently in my posession several of the toy guns made by Buzz Bee Toys that look like copies of the assault rifle. To the best of my knowledge they dont make these any more, and I was about to break down and buy one off amazon, for 37 bucks plus s&h, when I looked in my local store (for the fourth time mind you) and suddenly there were a ton of them on the clearance shelf. I would much rather sell these to members here, without having to mark them up to cover the site fees from those auction sites, but that would be the next step for me. Let me know if anyone is interested in buying them directly from me, by PM or on facebook (Adam Stolz).

Lol more people read this than I anticipated. I am going to check with the post office for mailing options/prices, and then I will have an idea of how much they will sell for. Anyone with experience in this know which payment method most reliable/least uncertain for this type of transaction?

Paypal, maybe? I always use that at eBay. :)

Ok, so I actually had to run to the store next to the post office, and talked to my partner in crime (they footed the bill on the guns, I'm broke and had no moneys!!!) so I now have a general idea of how much shipping will cost and how much to sell the guns for. I am going to ask XX dollars for each gun, and that you also pay the postage. This will give me a net profit of 7.5 dollars on each gun, for those who might think I am making a ton off this. I am all about full disclosure, so there ya go, thats what I get out of each gun.

Postage for the gun, as-is in original packaging (with a piece of cardboard placed over the front to help prevent scratches, and wrapped in paper to protect the box and seal it up in proper parcel form) is calculated at 2.5 pounds, or 2 lb 8 ounce. the box size is 24" long, 10"wide, and 1.5" deep.

I will not be charging for handling, however I have been told that the batteries should be removed from the gun (it comes with some watch batteries so you can try the sounds out while on the shelf. it takes AA batteries to make the flashlight work, and I assume no one on here cares about the noises, it makes several pew pew noises that are cute for kids like my almost 3 year old). I dont know why, but when I asked while standing next to the great big sign about what NOT to mail that comes with the gun, the lady at the USPS pointed to it and said, 'You see that battery on there? That means all batteries.' So Im just gonna pull the batteries. This will also give me the opportunity to test your gun before I send it, and make sure that it works properly.

Alternatively (and this would be my preference) I can gut your box to cut out some shipping wieght. It should cut down a little on the total shipping cost, so it will cost you less. the box has a ton of extra cardboard in it, and if you dont care about the box, because you are about to mod the gun and spraypaint it for your costume, then tell me to gut your box, and I will cut your wieght down as much as is safe without risking a smashed gun.

So there you have it, let me know if you are still interested in one of my guns, and for those of you that already messaged me, I will PM you telling you to look at the thread.

EDIT*** I have been told that actual prices are not to be posted on here, so I have removed the price. Sorry for breakin the rules, and sorry for not knowing all of them. Just save the spankings for my birthday please!
