Im more than a little bit upset that you're stealing ideas out of my head. DOH! 
The wife was thinking of Kat as a costume but this one blows my stupid ideas out of the water!!! Thanks a lot for making me feel LAME!
*** Just kidding(somewhat)OOoo. Really though, your lines are clean and look very professional. It's so cool that yo have the entire family involved in the Halo goodness. My son is still in his 'Ninja' stage and my daughter is WAYYY into Minnie Mouse. Which is fine for a 3 year old, but still.

Everything is awesome accept for the Carter helmet...it doesnt rly look like it.Try Ruzez model.Its waaayy better.I mean they both have all the details the helmet usualy has,its just that Ruzez helmet isnt as misshapen as this one.I can give you the link if you want it?

Yea, i know it is just an AR. wanted something else but got to thinking about it. this is the first one i have tried this way so i figured i would go easy for first time that way i had a better chance of actually finishing it and not getting frustrated and pitching it. figures this was a basic first time experiment that would allow me to try out the skills needed to do one more complicated.
spartan_d211--- thanks, yea i have Ruzez helmet file and i like it, but, there were aspects of the two that i liked and would have liked to have been able to combine the two to get what i wanted. this one was an easier pep and i figured with a little bit of extra work i could get the look and shape that i wanted. i noticed there were parts of this one that were accurate and parts that were not. it is the same for ruzez. so figured i would get a base shape and go from there. (bondo, sand and repeat)

lol i have been watching your build and didn't realize that was you.. lol.. i love the fact that you did a helm out of foam. i would have never tried that one. looks great..

thanks. well the primer is dry.. but getting late and i am still waiting on the stinking visor.. here are some pics:
now 3 hours later i have the attachment pepped. what a pain in the arse. it is now in the shop with the first coat of resin on it. while i wait for things to dry and set for the night i am going to work on some more foam. hope to have some more updates in a few days. i work for the next couple days then off for the weekend and hope to really get some done then. here is the pep of the attachment.

That looks seriously good. For the visors, check out the cl-11 by Hjc on eBay. It. Has a taller profile with a more pronounced curve.
