Can Cardboard Support Bondo

i have a cardboard odst helmet could i put bondo on it and smooth it out? basically can cardboard support bondo, or will the bondo ruin the cardboard?

You gotta rsin it first, so the bondo can work.The bondo will just crack if its not on a hard surface.

well that is the thing, im trying to avoid resin and fiberglass, so is there anything else i can use to smooth out some edges?

Or you could just resin a couple of coats then rondo it, thus avoiding the fiberglass fibers.

Depends on how much Bondo you wanna use. My AR is just cardboard and Bondo and it is turning out fairly well, of course I made a sliced AR so it is fairly sturdy
