it may or may not work, it just makes sense to me, when you cut 'em out and put 'em opposite, it would be indented instead of bumped out, and like vacuum cleaner hose cut in half is what I believe they use for the Chief helmets below his cheeks, and the ridged parts look similar to the chiefs cheek ridges, so that's my suggestion. although you may have to trim the pieces back, if they indent too much.
I don't know if it will work or not, I'm not a certified pep instructor, lol it just makes sense to me, to line the pieces up on the opposite cheek so they indent instead of bump out, and vacuum cleaner hose cut in half long ways is what they use for the chief helms,like the parts near his cheeks, and your CQB ridges look very similar, so that's my suggestion. although you may have to trim the indents a little if they bump in too much, but it doesn't look like it would be a problem. the gauntlet and handplate look BFAB though! good luck with the CQB, I thought about doin that one for a while, but opted for the hazop. But if you need any more suggestions, throw 'em up, cause I like to think creatively and help people out! even if it doesn't pan out all the time.. Well, Umm, I was curious, so I looked at a few reference pics of the perms of Reach, and Halo 3, and I'm afraid to tell you, I believe you have a Halo 3 CQB helm. the reach second piece is indented on the cheek, and Halo 3 is bumped out.Oh gosh, that sucks!!!! well, I'm watchin the progress, I wanna see how it turns out.
