i am suspending all work on every thing untill after finals and untill i get out of stage 2 of the grief process.

this is the moment you all have been waiting for. thats right the model is complete. I'll be ready to mold just as soon as my 3d printed piece gets here.
I will be taking orders for a plain just resin cast model. (PM me for price) all cast wouldn't be shipped untill after christmas due to the amount of hours BestBuy is giving me.
As for a Data Crystal chip that hold real data i have to do a little more expermenting before i will be satisfied.

that could actualy be a good idea , only thing thou you'l need a solar pad to detect the light , just take apart a garden solar light , then figure out how to rewire it to into not charging and just act as an on off/switch
wow i guess il have to try that. i think the side port of a mark V or the chip port on a markVI should be were to put the chip and right under it will be the place to install the detector. but the problem with the LDR is when it dark the LEDs wont turn on but when its light they do. its the opposite of what we need .

i know this one works in that way. went and dissmatled my garden light outside afew mins ago , has the same DLR sitting beside the solarpad.

You didn't read the page fully, I take it.
LDRs CAN work in reverse - you just need to swap a few components around in the circuit. Et voila, you have a sensor that'll activate your lights upon the local brightness dropping below tolerances. This is simple, SIMPLE stuff people... really, all you need to do is hit up Google.

well I'm sorry but for 6 years iv been home schooled and I'm a good little boy who just recently knew how to even use some of the INTERNET's functions. hell i don't even have a my space or face book or any thing of the sort. let alone even used google. I'm not trying to flame I'm only stating i don't know this stuff so I'm sorry if its an inconvenience but could some one post the circuitry for this thing i Thought of thank you
like I said 8 posts ago use a night light that has auto on the circuit is already built all you have to do is change the bulb connection for l.e.d. connection and add the prper power supply to run said l.e.d. if need be I have like ten and could try to do it just to see if it works. just say the word not like sitiing in an electronics shop all day I have anything else to do besides repair computers build electronic gadgets and sell car stereos

since i have the most expertise on this little subject here, i made the model. i just want to point out that this thing is about twice as thick as an sd card and maybe a little wider.
going on i think i may have figured your how i will do the data storage set up so get ready for some fun, USB fun that is.
as for the auto light up with out an imbedded rechargeable power source that would get pricey. heck just using micro sd cards and their USB adapters is getting pricey and i get a sweet @$$ discount on those things. but i do have a plan for the light in the center don't you guys/ gals worry. i have scoured the internets and found the circiutry diagram i needed. so i am a step closer. once i get the 3D printed model in i will start molding and expermenting.

Well A.F.S. if you need anymore added discounts on electronic components let me know I mean after all I do own a electronics/stereo store and would love to see this project come to "LIGHT" so if you need anything let me know I will give you what I can to see your project come to fruition. as far as the model from what I have seen from your sketch up design it looks great!!!

well with a little research i figured out how im going to do the light for the middle and the memory card.
for the light in the middle im going to do basicly this, but with a small modification. mainly i will be taking not using a switch so once the cap is carged then it will power the led untill it runs to low.
the memory card will be a basic usb flash drive just gutted and modded a little more. 12344321 will be the pin set up. more info to come
