Here is my first attempt at the helmet that i did earlier today, not happy with how it turned out so i will probably just retry it later down the line.

Today I made the thigh plates and started work on the main vest and chest plate loving how it sits on my leg

Hey man, I did the same thigh plates for my odst suit that's nearly done and I did 2 horizontal straps across under/through the side rectangles and one coming down from my belt. The belt strap holds it in place and the 2 horizontal straps keep it to my leg and stop it from flopping around. I also glued the main plate upside-down by mistake . Only realised after I base coated it grey. If it gelps here are some pics of them.

Made the abdominal and butt plates today!
Think i went a lil too heavy on the heat gun in certain places but im sure i can hide it when i paint XD

Mot been posting as I've been tackling the biggest piece of the armour, looks a little rough but im happy with how it turned out.
might shave in the straps over the shoulders a little so i can move easier XD

Also been playing with the idea of a hood, lemme know what yous think?

hmmm interesting... I'd have to see what it looks like all painted and stuff to get a better idea for how that hood will look, but I think it's a cool idea!
