Hello everyone, As like everyone else who has seen Stranger Things. That moment was epic. I decided to look for a basic guitar that was close to his. I looked up guitars on Facebook marketplace. I found a few on it. Got it ready to meet up then bailed. Then the one was picked up. It was good enough for the conversion.
Took apart the whole thing.
Most of the corners were chipped and damaged like this
Sanded the whole thing down and worked the damaged parts.
Sprayed Primer on it.
Then Got the red paint on it.
Sprayed it with the crackle paint and it turned out like this. I hated how it turned out.
Had to sand the whole thing down again. it looks kinda interesting like this.
Sprayed the primer, red and crackle again. This is how it turned out so much better.
Sprayed the first layer of clear coat on it and it makes the black pop.
