Hello, first time posting. Built a foam EOD helmet to go along with a mark v suit, just about to douse it in some plastidip. This is my first time working with foam, pepakura, etc, perfectionist inside me is going nuts how the right "snout" is tilted, but i still like how it looks!

that's extremely impressive for being your first time working with foam. Most people struggle with foam helmets (Even experiences foamsmithers) and that looks fantastic!

dang, great job on the helmet. Foam is very infuriating to make helmets out of, but you did a stellar job. kudos to you, must've taken awhile.

funny thing, i originally made a pep/bondo mark v helmet that took a month to sand and look good; i really didnt like how it turned out. I made an impulse decision to try and build an eod helmet from foam and I found it so much easier to work with. I think just putting the helmet together took like a week and a half

YOO THIS IS LOOKING AWESOME!! I can’t wait to see more!

Looks amazing, especially for the first time. Your cuts are clean and the seams look awesome. What adhesive did you use for your pieces? Can't wait to see the final result and more!

Thanks! my cuts were really jagged but I was able to get the the pieces to fit together really nicely with just good ol loctite super glue

90% done helmet! Primed and painted; may have gone too far in a few places with the weathering. Am gonna put a finishing layer of matte coat soon. Overall i like how it turned out! Think itll look good with my mark v suit
