I found this blueprint awhile ago for the LaserRifle, and I'm very sorry but I can't remember who made it.

100% seems to be too big, I think I'll try 90%. I'll wait till I tape it together to decide.

I made this. :)

Be careful with resizes. I made model that approximately 820 millimeters long — final result can be narrow for Power armor glove or PipBoy3000 joystick.

82cm is about 32 Inches, the 100% in the file was 101cm(40 Inches), mine is 88cm(35 Inches).

Isn't the PowerArmour glove just a regular glove?

Waow that's AWESOME!

soon I hope I can go buy the electric stuff.

Awesome stuff here! Really impressed whith what you've done so far.

I started thinking of trying to make a suit of Power Armour a few weeks ago, last night I found this place and started planning. I' went a bought a few bits today, and I've ot about 40% of the helmet together.

What you're doing here is exactly what I'm aiming for, I'm extremely grateful for your files! The chest and shoulder pieces I couldn't find, I'm just still trying to find the arms, boots and groin/ waist parts.

I haven't worked out how to scale (do I just adjust the printer scale?), but I'm 6 foot, so the extra inch shouldn't be too much of a problem for your chest and shoulder? I've not used fibreglass before, but my dad has, he also has a workshop, so I think I'll be taking stuff there for that! Gonna be learning as I go, fun though!

I've been thinking of things to make it look good, thought air hose for the small hose, not seen something for the larger ones yet. Also Maplin electronics here sell a voice changer kit for £11.99, I'm sure that could be mounted in the front part easily.

I was also thinking about condensation/ventilation. I have a (bought...not made) Darth Vader costume, the helmet gets quite stuffy, and the eye pieces mist up. I've seen mention of fans for cooling, I'm thinking have one mounted to blow air through the large hoses into the helmet. Maybe a steady airflow would help the condensation? Otherwise I was thinking of using a gas mask to seperate the nose/mouth from the rest of the helmet.

I was thinking of making the Pipboy and using that for controls.

Went on a bit of a ramble there sorry, just excited by all this!

First, Thank you and Welcome to the 405th you can find just about all the information needed in the sticky's that are in the Noob forum and Creation Discussion.

For the hoes I used I'm sure I overpaid for it, it was a TetraPond 20ft corrugated hose, but after looking closer I saw it was originally marked lower so I think the store ripped me off a bit. Continuing...

I was also thinking of having fans blowing through the side hose's, not sure if I want them blowing IN or OUT yet. Well for the lenses fogging, I was thinking of making the top padding in strips leaving a 1" or so gap between strips so it stay's cooler by having some air flow.

For scaling I use MrOreo's scaling tool http://405th.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19489&st=0&p=310502&#entry310502 then I go to this site : http://www.asknumbers.com/InchesToCentimetersConversion.aspx and then double check with a tape maser. Also! I scaled my helmet to 31cm hight.

For changing the scale in pep designer go to: 2D menu>Change Scale>Scale Factor. It use's MM instead of CM, I like to round up so if it's 31cm it would be 310mm.

IF you want me to give you the untested grion file I can, But I'm not sure if it will work with the chest.

And, Adding an Inch to my files should be alright.

Sorry if it seems kind of crammed.

You want the fans to suck out the air, to prevent any fog or get off any fog that had gotten onto your lens. I wish I was at a pretty stable height to be able to make my own T-45D suit, but being 5'6 and growing a lot, it's hard to make a suit.

Oh, thank you :)

EDIT: I thought I'd productive so I made the Light.

Photo shopped in.

Looks great roadwarrior! I wish tomorrow I'd grow to my full height and stop growing so I can make my own armor that would actually fit me after I build it all, lol.

That looks awesome, truly inspirational stuff. Nice use of the Speedfit for the tube. I hadn't even thought of that, I've got some old tubing and a couple of spare speedfits from my brewing equipment which I reckon will be just the ticket when I get to the details on my build.

Wow Roadwarrior! That helm is really getting to look B.A.! I have a friend (who is pretty much obsessed with Fallout), and he would probably force to you finish your suit and murder you in your sleep. :lol (Basically, I'm trying to say that helmet rocks!) BTW: Are you planning on putting in a light on that helm?

Looks Great!

Cheers!

Going to have to take off the tubes when I go to paint it, I was noticing when I was bonding that the left side of my helmet was completely different from the right side. It must of gotten warped when I was resin-ing it, oh well I already fixed most of the mishaps on it. Just need to raise up the lower left side of the gas mask part and fill in some nicks and it will be ready for primer!

I was thinking about getting a Psi gauge or two and putting on the back part where the tube connect.
