ok so a piece of fiber glass blew into the a fire we had when i was glassing my helmet i pulled it out when the fire died down and it looked like a panda bear ... heres some pics

i didnt throw it in the fire ,..... the wind BLEW it into the fire..

actually fiberglass by itself isn't flammable. Scientists use it as a heat insulator and houses do too because it smolders instead of burning. The resin is flammable though.
