Finhead do you have pep files for the gloves? I have have been searching everywhere. If I missed them oops. Do they even exist?

As far as i can tell, there isn't even a good model for the hands.

Which does make some sence as Everyone's hands are different. Prolly best choice will be to go get some cheep fitting gloves and build up the "armor" over them.

I plan to go that route, it's a pain, but at least then they'll be tailor fit.

Not sure if Fin's even thought about the gloves to date.

Nope you'd be wrong. ;)

There's a glove file in Starx's IronMan thread you can get it there if you look for it. I don't have permission to post it so I wont.

I'm actually working on sculpts of both hands, they will be cast soon enough.

And cast in? And what size? I was going to cast the boots next but due to various sizes I think I'll just do mine and a set for Dancin_Fool cause he's the man. :)

Smoothcast, flex foam 10 or 25...or if there is a special request, i may can meet your needs. As for the size, my hands fit just right in medium mechanix gloves, although, the hand plate is actually made up of separate plates that are free floating so that they can intersect and overlap. So the size really wouldn't be a problem. The only thing that may be a problem is the fingers. I can do each plate separately, so that each person can fill in the joints to meet there requirements.

Start of something good I think. :cool

First test pull, have to get used to working with a rubber mold instead of a glass mold. A few defects but not the mold, just the guy using it but nothing major anyway. This is a raw pull, spent 5 min cutting the flashing off and a coat of spray can silver since I wasn't going to mix up paint just for a test. The rest of the helmet is molded just finished the glass jacket last night so should have a full helmet pull soon, I hope. :cool

This definetly serves to demonstrate how having a good mother mold is essential...there is zero apparent warpage in your casting which is absolutely needed for pieces that have to mate up. Great job!

Amazing work, this build has become very addicting to watch. Can't wait to see this thing done and painted. How you going to paint it?
