Thanks man. Hopefully it will turn out. My goal is to make it so I can cast them out of plastic. But I'm thinking I'm going to one off the suit with pep and fiberglass.
Here's what I got done so far. In these pictures, it's me going thru and marking where I need to fill some more, and when I discovered my face was very wrong.
What I found was wrong was in the mouth area, in between the mic tips, it was poking out, and it needed to curve in and have a lip around where it recesses in. So I just cut it all out.
You also see where I was getting ready to resin over the new piece that will be the cheek area, it need to dip in under the eye mask, and have a cheek bone under the cheek thing. Got one side done and its looking pretty good already, I only had time to set the shape of it, and fiberglass it in place.
To get the cheek bone bump, I put some tape under the paper before I resined it, and before I cut out the opening, then I put some fiberglass cloth one it, then cut the opening and the new piece so that I can push it up from underneath. I use resin with a more hardener than normal to quickly "glue" the piece in and put the nail in to curve the piece inward. Then fiberglassed from behind.
I'm still iffy on what I want to do with eyes and brow line, the eyes are decent but the brow line is pretty off. And not sure about the mic tips.
