Greatest game in history on a system console?

The ocarina of time is dubbed the best game ever by many people, and still is till today, there may be new games, but old vs new, the ocarina of time was what all zelda fans and non zelda fans take as the begining of the real series.

Well for all the current versions maybe, but until that game came out, Zelda was sort of a new game each time one was made, and still sort of is that way. Just like the Final Fantasy series. I'd still pick the original Zelda over Ocarina any day.

#5 The legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Had the same feeling as OoT)

Of course, those are in no particular order. Halo: Combat Evolved it also in there of course. Mainly because of the Story. I think a game is good depending on a lot of things. The story accounts for eighty percent of how good I think it is. Of course, some games are just classic and the rules don't apply.

Oh yeah, Star Wars Rouge Squadron, and the Starfox series. One more thing! Battlestations: Midway! I'm ranked in the top three legit player in the world and am helping make the second one so it has to be one of the greatest games in history!

5.Pong. Just because it was one of the first legitimate video games EVER.

Agreed. I was disappointed when almost everybody on the first page said nothing but 360 games. I guess we're the old timers who grew up with our NES and SNES's. Man, they knew how to make a long and difficult game back than...
