My first set of armor! Plastic pieces I bought online, the rest was painted/modified by me.

HALO REACH- CARTER A-259 HELMET BUILD

(FIRST BUILD)

5 weeks, from blender to final.

3d program used for customising - Blender, Meshmixer

3D Printer - Ender 3 V2

16 parts, initially superglue, then filled and sanded. Inside the bucket I used clear cast epoxy resin and fibreglass to make it bombproof, then 3D-XTC on the exterior to smooth out the 3d layers.

Once all completed, white primer, sanded 2000 grit and airbrushed and fine paint brushed areas for detail.

Such an enjoyable journey, really liked making this bucket.

Have a great Christmas Spartans

Put the finishing touches on my Master Chief Helmet today. This is the Infinite MK6 GEN3, modeled by the talented Johan3DPrint.

Printed, Post and Painted by me.
Base Coat was Imperial Surface Shrapnel, and a custom mixture of Tamiya Green’s. Visor was purchased from the exceptional Branfhur Studios on Etsy.
