- Hall of Honor - Post Pics of your finished armor/weapons

Alright folks,
I figured as more and more posts are added to the Armor Discussion forum, a central place for all completed or near completed armor would be a beneficial reference for us all, as well as a Hall of Honor for those amazing artisans. This is for your armor, that you bought or built, not someone else’s.

If we can keep out the discussion of how's and why's that'd be great. Either PM the creators or start a new thread (remember to search first).

So if ya got 'em post some pics... (it'd be cool if you also posted a little snippet of how you made it i.e. Vacuum form, molds, materials, but it's your choice.)

Heroics

Finally went and bought the Halo MA40 Nerf Rifle and to recolour it since the 3D Printed one I made last year is a bit too small. I don't know if the Nerf branded one is a 1:1 replica or being scaled because I felt it was much bigger.

I used Anchor Spray Paint (a local spray paint brand) for the recolouring process. (Colour Chart)

I used a primer spray of white to help the spray paint stick, and to help remove a lot of the brighter base colors. Once dried, I sprayed with a metalic silver base coat for weathering later. I then taped off the top along the weapon's seem, and the green parts you see, and sprayed it with a rustoleom camo matte black, and then reversed it for the grey above. Once everything was dried, I added the green and red to it, then adding the blue last. Once all paint was dried, to add some weathering I ran some sand paper over the gun to scratch it up.

Commander Carter full armour build:

Finally can say that this is (99.9%) finished. Haven’t decided on how I am going to do the visor detail.

First part completed. So much still to do. This was all 3D printed. And painting and wiring done by me.

A Halo: Reach Mark V B Helmet with rainbow gradient that was used as a fundraiser to support the ARC Foundation of British Columbia. It's probably one of my best overall paint jobs so far in terms of weathering and wear while still keeping everything vibrant.

Some of ya'll might have seen already (on the facebook or discord), but I've finally completed my ODST! I've been working on it since April, completing the kit in early July, 1 day before the con I was planning to attend.

Heres a photo dump of a recent photoshoot I did.

The finished kit looks amazing! Hopefully you had a good time at the con and didn't crunch for it too hard!
