I wasn't exactly a fan of the Joyride figures....they were alright, but the paintjobs sucked. poseability was mediocre despite all the articulation points. All the weapons they came with were pretty sweet, though. I also hated how the Spartan's thighs were egg-shaped.
I AM pumped for that arbiter, and the ODST, but yeah what I'd really want would be a normal Elite and a Mark V series.

Exactly. Unfortunately, their protoype pictures would have given McFarlane a run for their money, IMO, yet they release some crap figures (in comparison) instead haha.

The revised one looks much better but doesn't change the bad paint jobs and egg thighs- near the knees they taper down into rounded points.

Sorry man!! My place was practically a full rack. Not all the variants were there, but certainly a hefty amount of the variants they did have.
Other places, i.e. Game Stop should be stocking them in the next week, anyhow. I called them up first before hitting W-M since they are about 10-15 minutes closer...no luck yet, though.

Yeah sure- I'll do it when I get home if nobody else has already. The Halo 2 figure are 8~ inches while the Halo 3 are around 5 I think.
So are these sitting on shelves at your store locations yet??? After i found them, all but one store has already pulled the end cap displays and most toy managers I have talked too (Wal mart ones anyway) have no idea shere they are going to put them long term. They are now all mixed in with all the other Spawn toys. Some have already told me they don't know if they are getting more. Now grant it, I take this as bull just for the fact they have always said this about SW toys BUT SW is a total different animal. I am only missing the Cortana still, so I think I will have to hit up Targets and Toys R us because these are the major retailers in my area that have not put them out yet.

my WalMart had a full display thing of them, not hanging on the shelves yet...(this was Tuesday) They were 9.64 or so I think, so a bit cheaper than Ive seen online.

So is anybody else who opened their spartans (leaning towards EVA as I had the issue with him) having the thumb breaking problem? It might just be for the EVA spartan or it might be for all spartans because his thumb looks like its seprate instead of meshed with the rubber.

My EVA's thumb hasn't broken off yet...though I haven't been taking the gun in and out much. Until I get more I'm just going to leave the MA5C's in I guess.
