Whats with that final shot of the mannequin in marine armor standing next to a laser blast of some sort?

that was a real marine being shot at by covenant but not being phased by it

I didn't thik it was there either.... I'll have to check my tape to be sure... but what's the meaning if it, and why would it be in the DL clip but not the broadcast?

It's not part of the Halo Movie, it was a joke to get halo fans to say "omg that was it?" then bam wham the campaign trailer.

Well it looked like a vast majority of it was CG... just the scenes of the people was live action. There was alot of stock footage in there with the Halo elements CG'ed in...

Anybody see the sniper rifles being assembled?

If you pause on the closeup of the M6D, you can see it was very CG'ed

I kinda figured as much. Something like this would cost a fortune to do at such a small scale.

CG is much cheaper.

Thanks for the heads up, i got alittle discouraged at first about my movie, but im on top again. There is a bit of a standard set now, but this will help "color" my movie better.

And, truth be told, it wasn't very polished CG.... but thats understandable considering that the funding was pulled.... I'm just happy to finally see something!

But of course it's nothing that couldn't be done in a... Fan Film ;-)

It's obvious that they wanted us to pay attention to that clip, but I don't get it. It's very obviously a mannequin dressed in Marine gear.... is this suggesting armor testing? Covenant decoys?
