So I recently finished up the spine piece on my Halo Reach commission build and through a clever use of elastic and buckles I have made it flexible! Here are the suit up shots. Ill post some of the rest of the progress photos in the coming days as the build is almost complete.

Neat! Did you just use some nylon strap/elastic and glued it to each connecting piece for flexibility?

And is that the Mjolnir Mk V armor from Reach?

Its been a minute so heres a quick update with some more progress photos! I recently finished up the Collar/Breacher and im pumped how the Dummy shells look on this thing.

The thigh pouch is mounted using a combination of straping running vertical and horizontal through both the pouch and the thigh piece as shown here

And no this build is not for me, its for a customer of mine who wanted it built on a set of heels. I dont know how people walk in these things. I have to admit it does look cool though lol.

Heres a quick preview of the paint scheme i’m going with on this build. It still needs weathering and detailing, but here’s what were working with!

The base coat is:
Krylon Fusion Metallic Dark Metal
The Secondary color is:
Rustoleum American Accents Gloss Real Orange

I did not have any bubbling or paint acting up that you see sometimes from mixing paints. These are both meant to bond to plastic and i find they work very well together. Coverage was great and only required 2-3 layers for complete coverage.

Ill be doing some more detailing including black sections and weathering next weekend
