Maybe I will try both then thanks for the help. And i didnt know if you let the resin harden then put downt another layer of wet then put down fiberglass. Thanks for clearing that up.

I think this would be easiest for you if you learned it one step at a time. I think you should try to focus on scaling and pepping before you learn everything about bondo and resin and all that. I am constructing armor now and plan on learning about resin and bondo when I get to those steps to make it less confusing. I think it will help if you just scale and pep a helmet to learn the basic-basics before you move on to the more complex things. That's just my two cents and if you take this into consideration feel free to send me a PM and I'll be willing to help you learn about pepekura if you haven't already. :D

You need to think about what you're actually doing there. The idea is to create fibre-reinforced plastic, where the matrix (i.e. the plastic, your resin) holds together some stronger material (the fibres), which in turn carries all the load. This doesn't work unless the fibres are completely enclosed by and bonded with the resin. This might put some stress onto your pep model (which is really weak), and that is the reason why people usually put one a few coats of plain resin and let those cure before actually hardening the model. These are separate steps.

Thinking about where you're going and why you do what you do (or what a tutorial tells you to do) is generally a very smart thing. You will notice a lot of inconsistencies and mistakes that way (like the popular "particle filter against gases" thingy) and you might even come up with a better way to do something.

Ok So Would making rondo and using it be stronger for my level? Can u do rondp and fiberglass? just wondering on that bc I havent seen anything on it

Thank you for the video, I am trying the pep right now. So he used "mud" which is rondo, in other videos I have watched the only used rondo and not the mat. So you can do both I guess Also if anyone knows where to get a pep for foam i could use the help
