1st Build Halo: Reach, Jun-A266, Build Log

Hi all!

Going to be keeping track of my progress here; just a lil about me;

- Mostly done 3D printing, but this time going to go with foam since it has better support in the community + less expensive
- Last (and 1st proper) cosplay: Helldivers 2 - https://www.instagram.com/cal.makes

The goal is to get this done in time for Megacon Birmingham in March 2026!

Any tips/suggestions are welcome, probably wont be much activity until around next week.

Foam is way less expensive and more flexible I think. I am terrified of foam, I struggle with straight and beveled lines. Have the right tools but still I still fail. I accomplished one headpiece for my ahsoka tano and I do want to practice more with it for sure.
I can't wait to see the build! You have limited time!!!! You got this! !!

Ty!! I have actually decided to just stick with 3D printing as i probably wont have enough time to actually do foam from scratch - will deffo post updates starting next week
