Hev Suit Help!

I have a friend who cant scale the HEV suit from half-life right.

he is 6 feet, but the standard scale is 5"6'

how could I scale this for him? thanks guys!

Appologies for the bump, but I was the one who was asking for help, but I'm just so nervous about posting on here...

Lower right arm/left arm:

240mm high

189mm wide

107mm deep

Scale: 4.185865

That's odd... I plan on making the lower left arm piece first (for practice) and the default scales are as follows:

250mm high

196mm wide

111mm deep

Scale: 4.360276



And these default settings were for someone with a height of 5'6"?

Thanks so much, but do you think Method 1 would work for the current images that exist of Freeman? There aren't many official images out there. I suppose I'll give Method 2 a try and see how that goes.

to be honest i didnt find tactics tutorial on scaling all that helpfull. if your doing the arm mesure how long your arm is and use hat as a scale reference.

To each his own. Tactics' method was for people who weren't sure of the dimensions in relation to their own body. What you do (and I do for most pieces) works for a nice custom fit. (especially if you have long arms or whatnot)

Here's a link to the hosted files, and they're all to (null).exe's measurements I believe.



I'm scouring my house looking for a measuring tape, and I know I have one somewhere. When I find it, I'll post my own measurements.
