Other good news, both lenses/visors shipped today, so when they get in it will be more of a spur to get more work done on these so I can get to that point.

I love that last shot of the helmets side by side...it totally feels like "his" and "hers" versions. It's awesome that you're building suits for the both of you!

Well thank you! I'm shooting to complete the same pieces at a time together, so as it progresses we should be done at the same time. And its funny because, I say that, but you can clearly see whose helmet is getting more attention. Just goes to show how much I care about her and take more pride in something for her. We will see though, and I must say thanks to both of you for your comments, both of your builds are amazing!

Looking good man :)
Dude you guys are lucky to meet justin long, he is hilarious

Yeah he was a nice guy, he was in town promoting Obama

Got some more work done, and I must say, my wife's helm is looking amazing!

Get to move onto to the fun part of the helmets tonight, bondo and detailing!!!

Quick question : Is it really necassery to rondo it if its fieberglased? Just asking since im thinking to skip the fieberglas on my helmet
And ur wife is lucky =D i really love the fact u doing it together! :)

It all depends, I don't suppose its extremely necessary, but fiberglass leaves alot of sharp edges after resining so rondoing it covers that and cuts down on all that. If your like my friend Jerry(Chwvcc on here and the rpf) he would say rondo only of the inside would suffice. And I suppose that would be fine too but rondo by itself is brittle and if the helmet was dropped could shatter. So its all in your preference of how to do it, if your just going to cast it then I suppose rondo would be fine, but I say better safe than sorry, glass and rondo make it solid as a rock

And thanks, its not so much us working on it together as me doing all the work and her picking out the colors and choices of details. I don't mind though, if she looks as good in the armor as good as I make each piece look I will be happy.

And p.s., pigbenis was my favorite band member from Mushroomhead, that is if your name has anything to do with that and not just the first letter reversal

Ok i thought bout the solid beeing with that combo . thanks for agreeing with that part. ill spend that time for making it more solid .
I just needed another view point to be sure what to do and what not .

Well u are the first one who relates my name to this awesome band :) and no i do not only relate it cos of the letters i listened also to the band aswell ( but my pet in world of warcraft was named pig benis too ... :D )
guess its just a question of time till i have to rename myslef since ppl find it offensive :$

Greets bro ;)
