So glad it worked out. I've got a friend from Kenya that has dealt with that kind of situation (for his wife and son to come to the US) and VISA's are a pain in the ass. Maybe a royal pain in the ass if it's the UK.

You're not wrong there. It seems to me that they're only after your money, you know? Spouse visas are SO expensive. They refused me first time, but this time they didn't even bother calling anyone to verify all my info and story, they just approved me. So it makes me think that they just wanted a bit more money, especially if they do this to everyone

But I've got it now so it's been worth it!
