I am dismayed by your attention to detail. But so damn inspired. I am now going to make a Battle Rifle once I've finished my armour <_<
I would tell you to keep up the awesome work, but I'm sure you'll be doing that anyway xD
I have not tried the pepakura thing but may I suggest that you lightly seal the paper with a light clear coat before you apply the resin coating. I think that the paper crinkles and droops when it becomes too saturated with the resin.
I have done quite a bit of resin work on my pep and have had no issues with warping persay I usually apply a light coat starting with the inside, let that set the do the outside. This gives the card stock much more stability before applying the proceeding coats. I think alot of issues people experience are due to imperfections in the pep work itself. The paper before resin is more easily felxed and therefore seems to hide the true shape it will seek when stiffened. I would suggest to anyone to doe both inside and out with a thin coat first lettig it dry throughly to stiffen it also bracing can help and placement of the part while drying is KEY... Make sure to find how your part will sit best without any flexing while drying. Hope this helps someone. Gforce598
