Well I have been working on a few things right now but my new pride and joy is my new locus helmet which I just finished pepping the other day . I got one coat of resin on and that's about it . It will fit my head but I'm going to have to cut out part of the back of the head and have it detachable (that's what they did at armory props at least . ) Easily the most difficult piece I've ever done . The details are not spot on but it'll work.

WOW! Great Job! that is some super clean pepping! Where will you cut out on the helmet to see? Because I've seen some helmets made from Halo 4 and I never could tell where the holes for the eyes are! Keep it up! Doing Great!

Update Time ! Well good news is that I've managed to get quite a bit done bad news is that it's just started to snow here so my progress may be slowed a bit.
Yes I'm attempting a fiberglass halo 4 suit which is downright dumb because foam suits look just as good but I was hoping for something that will last me a while . It won't even be accurate because the chest was a bit too big under the arms and I had to cut it down . But I may just do another chest after this one . I am disappointed at the files I am finding because it feels like they've been made for foam builds ... Whatever . I am gonna finish this sucker if it's the last thing I do !

So I got the legs pepped and put a coat of resin on today. One of the legs is missing the detail because I was going to try and add it in an easier way . The chest just needs some cleaning up and bondo work and it'll be done . Also I made the stomach/cod piece with foam . I used my kitchen's gas stove to heat the foam then I used a tile I picked up at home depo to texture it . I am pretty sure I will be doing something with that for the undersuit . I

Great work! I can only imagine how annoying the intricate details on the Locus helmet was. I may start my own over this coming winter after seeing Armory Props and your's. How is it sized compared to your head? I know the 'ear' parts come inward a bit but it seems like AP's is a tad large? Maybe I'm mistaken.

Your armor looks awesome so far but I must give you well deserved praise for your ingenuity in using a tile to imprint those hex patterns. They add so much to the professional look of your kit :)

Where did you get that honeycomb pattern foam, its the perfect look for an under-suit! And props for the patience I'm sure it took to put that helmet together.

@recongoose
I bought a piece of tile from home depot for like $2 that had the hex pattern then i heated the foam up and pressed the tile down on it . And yes, the locus was the most detailed piece i have ever done.
oh and here's a look at the tile .

@saiko
It is a pretty snug fit on the old noggin and I cannot put it on at the moment . I'm gonna have to cut out a piece of the back of the head to be able to get it on and off . I might do something with magnets to get the back piece on . That's what one of the guys at armory props did for his locus
