Just a little thing I wrote up while walking my dog in the cold.
The Marine Corps fights in a variety of enviorments; we need a variety of clothing.
Cold-Weather Situations
For added protection, use:
-A sweatshirt, underneath fatigues
-Balaclavas
-Gloves
-Orange Glare Tactical Glasses
-Goggles
-This is for everyone, including officers.
Mild-Weather Situations
Marines should wear:
-Fatigues
-Helmet & Armor
-Officers wear officer caps
Hot Weather Situations
For added protection from the sun:
-Boonie hats
-Roll up sleeves
-Discard armor (last resort)
Desert Weather Situations
-Boonie Hats
-Roll up sleeves, and pant legs if needed
-Wear sun glare tactical glasses
Sandstorm Weather Situations
-Helmets
-Full fatigues, nothing rolled up
-Balaclava
-Goggles
Blizzard Weather Situations
-Same gear as Cold-Weather
-Substitute Tactical Glasses for Goggles
-Added layers
-Under gloves
Extreme Weather-Hail, Sleet and others
-Helmets
-Standard gear
Rain
-Boonies
-Standard gear, possibly ponchos
Just MY thought of what it should be.
